Sacramento police are investigating a shooting in Oak Park that sent a man in his 20s to the hospital with serious injuries Monday morning.
Early investigations indicate the shooting may have been gang related, Sacramento police said, but no suspects or motive had been immediately determined.
Officers arrived at the 3400 block of 16th Avenue about 6:15 a.m. after receiving a call reporting gunshots in the area. By then, both shooter and victim were already gone.
Minutes later, police were notified by a local hospital when a man in his 20s showed up with gunshot wounds.
