Roseville driver who died in Highway 65 crash is identified

A driver died when her car crashed on Highway 65 in Placer County on Sunday.

The California Highway Patrol said that Nadezhda Tiskiy, 55, of Roseville was traveling on the westbound Pleasant Grove Boulevard onramp to southbound Highway 65 at about 5:40 p.m. Sunday when she lost control of her car.

Her vehicle crossed directly into the path of approaching traffic on southbound Highway 65 and collided with a sport utility vehicle. The front end of the SUV struck the side of Tiskiy’s car.

Both traffic lanes of southbound Highway 65 were temporarily shut down to remove Tiskiy from her car and conduct a crash investigation. Tiskiy later succumbed to her injuries at a hospital.
