Detectives were called to an Arden Arcade apartment complex Tuesday morning where a man was found with a gunshot wound.
Sacramento County sheriff’s deputies received a call at 6:45 a.m. from a man at an apartment complex in the 600 block of Howe Avenue who said he had been shot. Responding deputies found the man in his 30s with at least one gunshot wound in his torso, according to sheriff’s department spokeswoman Sgt. Lisa Bowman.
It was not immediately clear if the shooting occurred at the apartment complex or elsewhere. Deputies have a vague description of a suspect, but have not released any details about a possible shooter.
The man was transported to the hospital with an injury that was not life-threatening.
