A 75-year-old woman reported missing after leaving her Amador County home Thursday morning has been found safe.
The Amador County Sheriff’s Office said Hedy Ann Alvina Thompson was found at a hotel in Fort Bragg.
The Sheriff’s Office received a call about 9:30 a.m. Thursday reporting that Thompson was missing. She had last been seen at her residence in the rural Willow Creek area about 7:30 a.m. and reportedly left driving a green 2003 Toyota Tacoma pickup, according to a Sheriff’s Office news release.
Thompson suffers from various medical conditions, and can become confused and have difficulty communicating, sheriff’s officials said. She left home without her medications.
