Sacramento State and UC Davis have announced dates for spring 2025 commencement ceremonies.
In a Monday email to students, Sacramento State President Luke Wood wrote that graduation ceremonies will take place over a two-day in mid-May in downtown Sacramento.
“We look forward to celebrating all spring and summer 2025 graduates with their friends and families,” Wood said in his letter.
All eligible graduates have to register to participate in spring commencement.
Here’s what students need to know upon graduation:

Eligible students should expect to receive the email in early March, Wood wrote in a letter to students and campus community members.
There are deadlines to register.
Undergraduate students receiving bachelor’s degrees should have filed petitions to graduate with the Office of the University Registrar as of Oct. 1.
