Sacramento Unified to staff regional sites to aid 2015-16 enrollment

The clock is ticking for parents who want to enroll their children in the Sacramento City Unified School District, where fall classes will start earlier than usual – Sept. 3.

To help parents enrolling children who are new to a campus and are entering kindergarten to 12th grade, the district has scheduled enrollment hours at regional locations on four days next week.

On Monday and Tuesday, Enrollment Center staff will help families who visit Sequoia Elementary School, 3333 Rosemont Drive in Sacramento, between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.

On Wednesday and Thursday, the staff will be at John Bidwell Elementary, 1730 65th Ave., in south Sacramento, also from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Parents can enroll students also at the district’s Enrollment Center, 5601 47th Ave., Sacramento. For details on center hours and the enrollment documents needed, go to
