Study: Acetaminophen may be numbing your feelings

A new study done at Ohio State University found that when people took acetaminophen, the main ingredient in Tylenol, they were less likely to show empathy.

For example, when participants who took acetaminophen learned about the misfortunes of others, they thought these individuals experienced less pain and suffering, when compared to those who took no painkiller, researchers at The Ohio State University found.
