At least 191 homeless men and women died in 2022 in Sacramento County, a Sacramento Bee analysis found. That number is a few deaths fewer than a Bee analysis of 2021 deaths published a year ago, but it could rise as more information becomes available from the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office

Click the dot to learn their name, age, race/ethnicity, and a little bit about their personalities. The same information, along with the photographs The Bee was able to gather, is available under the map as a list — which can be searched and sorted.
