Trees in Curtis Park ‘yarn bombed’
A colorful touch has been applied to several trees in the city’s Curtis Park neighborhood.
An anonymous artist recently “yarn bombed” trees. Five of the trees were decorated with multi-colored crochets at the northern end of the neighborhood park, near 26th Street and Curtis Way.
The decorations were a brief topic of conversation at a recent Sierra Curtis Neighborhood Association meeting and the neighborhood group Tweeted photos of the art earlier this month with the caption, “We’ve been YARN BOMBED!!!!”
But so far, no one has taken credit for the work.
