American Airlines moving to Terminal A at Sacramento International
American Airlines will move from Terminal B to Terminal A at Sacramento International Airport effective Tuesday.
Airport officials said American Airlines and US Airways have gradually consolidated since their merger in December 2013. The move at Sacramento International allows American to be next to the US Airways ticket counter in Terminal A.
The two airlines will have separate ticket counters and sell tickets on each other's flights until the merger is finished. At that point, the combined airline will operate under the American Airlines name.
American's final flight from Terminal B will be Monday evening.
