One northbound I-5 lane still closed in Stockton after truck dangled over bridge
One lane of northbound Interstate 5 is still closed hours after a big rig crashed and hung over an overpass near the Stockton Deep Water Channel early Tuesday near Pershing Avenue, the state Department of Transportation reports.
The big rig dangled from the side of the bridge above a vacant parking lot, but was later removed, according to the CHP. A crew is repairing the bridge, closing the No. 1 lane until at least 1 p.m., the CHP said.
