Fatality on southbound Interstate 5 backs up traffic north of Woodland
A fatal accident Thursday afternoon on southbound Interstate 5 in Yolo County just north of County Road 102 has backed up traffic north of Woodland and limited access to the roadway.
Officials responded to the multivehicle accident around 4 p.m., according to the Woodland Fire Department.
Southbound access to Interstate 5 was open from the County Road 102 on-ramp, but the Woodland Fire Department advised drivers to avoid the highway in Woodland if possible.
