Gas for under $6 a gallon in Sacramento? Check these area gas stations
Gas prices continue to soar across the country, hitting more than $6 a gallon in parts of California.
The average price for a gallon of regular-grade gasoline in California and Sacramento reached all-time highs Tuesday, at nearly $6.07 for the state. The capital region broke a new record Wednesday at around $6.06 per gallon, according to the American Automobile Association. Last month, the price for a gallon of regular fuel in the state averaged $5.69.
The Sacramento Bee rounded up the cheapest places to get gas in the area, according to Gas Buddy as of 8 a.m. Wednesday. In Sacramento, some stations are selling regular gas for less than $6 a gallon. GasBuddy did not list any stations under $5.
