Portion of light rail’s Blue Line service to be suspended this weekend

Sacramento Regional Transit light-rail service will temporarily be suspended over the weekend on the northeast portion of the Blue Line between Watt/I-80 and St. Rose of Lima Park light rail stations to accommodate the installation of telecommunications upgrades.

The disruption in service will start at 8 p.m. Friday. Normal service is expected to resume Monday. During work period limited-stop shuttle buses will take passengers between the Watt/I-80 and St. Rose of Lima Park light rail stations. The temporary closure is also being timed with the painting of the 12th Street underpass near D Street.
