Brief power outage at Sacramento International Airport

Sacramento International Airport’s Terminal B suffered a 15-minute power outage this afternoon, officials report. The outage lasted from 1:10 p.m. to 1:25 p.m., but did not affect flights.

The outage affected elevators, escalators, flight information boards and baggage carousels. But the automated people mover continued operations, taking passengers to the jet concourse building, which also remained in operation. The outage did not affect Terminal A.

Airport officials said they are investigating the cause of the outage.
