Highway 70 in Marysville has reopened following a more than two-hour closure caused by a truck that became stuck underneath a train trestle at 17th Street.

The truck became stuck shortly after noon, and motorists were advised to use Highway 99 as an alternate route.

A tow truck removed the big rig, and the the highway reopened about 3 p.m. after an inspection determined the trestle was not damaged, the California Department of Transportation reported.
