How did this van end up wedged front-first between two buildings in Salt Lake City?

A van nosedived off a parking garage Wednesday, becoming wedged front-first in an alley, Salt Lake City firefighters say.

A man drove the van through a chain-link fence and off the second story at 1 p.m., KSL reported.

The cause of the bizarre crash remains under investigation, The Salt Lake Tribune reported.

Firefighters had to extricate the driver, who suffered minor injuries, after the 25-foot fall, KSTU reported.

Tow truck drivers planned to remove the van by dragging it out of the alley sideways, KSL reported.
