It’s “The One Where They Got Back Together.”
The cast of “Friends” will reunite for an unscripted, untitled HBO Max special coming this May, according to Deadline.
The special will be directed by Ben Winston and produced by FulWell 73 and Warner Bros., the outlet reported. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer all will reprise their iconic roles.
All six leading cast members shared the news of the official reunion special on Instagram, captioning the photo: “It’s happening.”
HBO Max also shared the news on Instagram stories, calling it “The One Where They Got Back Together.”
Sources say that the six stars will receive at least $2.5 million each for the special, according to Variety.
Rumors began circulating last fall about a reunion HBO Max special for the series, according to the outlet. SVOD, created by WarnerMedia, got the streaming rights to the show with a Warner Bros. deal.
