Lucky man wins Colorado $1 million Powerball jackpot twice — on the same day
A Colorado man won the lottery jackpot twice — on the same day.
“Joe B” from Pueblo, Colorado, won two $1 million Powerball prizes in March, the Colorado Lottery said in a news release Tuesday.
“Joe likes to play one play of his own numbers, and a couple more plays with Quick Picks,” Colorado Lottery said in the news release. He redeemed his tickets Monday morning.
On his lucky day, he bought a few Powerball plays in the morning at a 7-Eleven, and later stopped at a Loaf N’ Jug to buy more plays, according to the news release.
“Joe B” told the claims office staff that he and his wife would spend the money, but “the boss has plans for it.”
“One man from Pueblo has some amazing luck that’s hard to believe!” Colorado Lottery said.
