What’s the best mattress for sex? This company will pay you to find out
The first eight months of 2020 have been mostly dreadful, but if you’re currently in a relationship, here’s some good news: A sleep research company wants to pay you and your frisky partner to have sex for eight weeks.
Yes, you read that right.
Sleep Standards will pay five couples $3,000 each to have sexual relations on eight different mattresses to see which one is best for doing the deed.
“We all know that a bad mattress can lead to problems in bed, and a good mattress can do wonders,” the website reads. “To save people the trouble of looking for a comfortable mattress through trial and error, we came up with this experiment. We’re aiming to find the best mattress for sex — and we need your help!”
The company will send the chosen couples a different mattress for eight weeks to “test out” from the comfort of their own bedroom.
“If you’re chosen, we’ll send you a mattress every week,” the website says. “Each time we send you a new mattress, we’ll swap out the old one. These aren’t any random mattresses though; they’ve been rated as the top 8 mattresses for sex currently on the market. “
The company asks that the couples write “extremely” honest reviews for each mattress and rate them on a scale from 1-10 on criteria like bounciness, noise, edge support, comfort and cooling, to name a few.
Not only will couples get paid for something they hopefully enjoy doing, but they’ll also get to choose one free mattress of their choice.
