A 32-year-old man is accused of holding back a 12-year-old boy while his son assaulted him, Washington police said.

Suad Sejfovic was arrested last week on charges including assault of a child in the third degree and unlawful imprisonment, according to a probable cause statement from the Vancouver Police Department.

Sejfovic’s son, also 12 years old, hit the boy at a bus stop in Vancouver, the statement says.

The father held the boy’s arms back so his son could hit him in the head multiple times, police said.

Police said a video captured the assault and provided officials with probable cause to arrest Sejfovic.

The boy’s mother pressed charges against the father, authorities said.

Sejfovic was booked into the Clark County Jail and his bail was set at $5,000. He paid the bond and was released.

He is scheduled to be arraigned Nov. 5.
