A large tree in the parking lot of Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre fell down shortly after a concert ended, injuring one person and damaging at least 30 cars, local news outlets reported.

The Los Angeles Fire Department confirmed in a statement that all of the cars were empty when the tree fell about 8 p.m. Nov. 3 and that the person who was injured, a 35-year-old woman, was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The tree was estimated to be 40 to 50 feet tall. There was no apparent reason why the tree fell, The Associated Press reported.

The theater had hosted a sold-out show that night featuring Oakland band Brijean and the Texan trio Khruangbin. The latter group will play two more sold-out shows on Nov. 4 and Nov. 5 at the Greek Theatre, according to the venue’s website.

The venue is located in Griffith Park.
