A mansion dripping with elegance —and a few surprises— has hit the real estate market in Covington, Louisiana for $5.4 million.
And it’s something you have to see to believe.
The five-bedroom, nine-bath house that sits on 60 acres overlooks a sparkling lake and has more than a few nuggets that help the estate stand out.
“Opulent details combine with luxuriant modern amenities in this home with a deep front porch, generous galleries and walls of windows overlooking the pool and the lake,” the listing describes on Zillow.
Luxuriant is the key word here.
Glancing at the photos, one would naturally assume royalty graced the hallways of this splendid mansion, with its sweeping wood and marble floors, numerous chandeliers, and even, what looks to be, a bathroom complete with a staircase.
But the real surprise? This absolutely epic “Disney Star Wars” theater.
Of course, there’s also a restored three-bedroom guest house and a six-stall barn.
Did we mention there is also a music room complete with a stage?
The property was featured on the Twitter account @TheBestOfZillow with the tweet that said “Now witness the power of this fully armed and operational movie room.”
Some folks were fans, others not so much.
“Buying this to gentrify it into a Star Trek movie room,” one person commented.
“This is the coolest house of all time,” another said.
“Dear god I wanna live here,” one person quote tweeted.
Covington is about 41 miles northwest of New Orleans.
