Distinctive tattoo may solve mystery of woman found dead on roadside, Arizona cops say
Police in Bullhead City, Arizona, are seeking help identifying a woman found slain beside a road.
A driver spotted a woman’s body along Arroyo Vista Drive at 8:15 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 2, police said in a news release.
Detectives trying to identify the woman describe her as white with a medium build and long brown hair, possibly in her late 20s or early 30s.
She has a distinctive tattoo reading “family” on her shoulder blade and another tattoo reading “bjc” with small hearts on her lower hip, police said.
Detectives said she was wearing blue jeans, a black shirt, black shoes and a rhinestone belt.
Police ask that anyone with information call 928-763-1999. They said no further information, including her cause of death, will be released until she’s identified.
Bullhead City is about 230 miles northwest of Phoenix.
