Watch Denver deputies perform CPR to save 6-year-old’s life after rescue from icy pond

Dramatic video from the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office shows deputies performing CPR to save a 6-year-old girl’s life after she was rescued from an icy pond on Jan. 9.

The girl was pulled from the water, along with two other children, by a witness and was not breathing when first responders arrived.

Officers performed CPR on the girl before transporting her to a local hospital.

Her condition was described as “serious,” but she is expected to survive.
