This is ‘perfect’ home for Kansas City Chiefs fans, Zillow Gone Wild says. Take a look
If you still can’t get over those 13 seconds that are about as perfect as it gets in football — if you’re a Kansas City Chiefs fan, that is — or that overtime win, then you need to see the inside of this Missouri duplex for sale.
“Are you the ultimate (Chiefs) Fan and the ultimate investor???” listing agent Jonathan Leach with Keller Williams Realty of SWMO asked on Facebook in December. “Then this duplex is calling your name.”
The complete Joplin duplex listed for $275,000 and is still for sale as of Monday, Jan. 24, according to the listing, as Chiefs fans are still taking in that wild playoff win over the Buffalo Bills.
It made it to a “best of Zillow” fan page during the game, and Zillow Gone Wild considers it “the perfect home for a @Chiefs fan,”
The listing says both sides are currently rented, and it’s approximately 3,437 square feet of living space.
Before you get to that living space, you’ll be greeted by a Kansas City Chiefs illustration on one side’s driveway, along with red and black tiles as you enter one side of the duplex. It really sets the tone for the rest of the home, as you find yourself immersed in a Chiefs world.
Take the Chiefs arrowhead logo centered in the main living room floor, for example.
Then there’s the kitchen, where the room’s red, yellow and black tiled backsplash is balanced with tiled floor showcasing Chiefs helmets, arrowheads and footballs. And when you look up, you’ll find it’s always a cloudy, blue-skied day.
When you need to use the restroom, or do your laundry, you can still be surrounded by Chiefs colors. Yes, the walls are yellow and red and some tiles are, too.
Also in the home, you’ll find red tartan carpets and even a Chiefs football “field” on the floor.
Zillow Gone Wild fans had all sorts of reactions to the duplex.
“That game tonight got me so hyped up I may buy this,” one person replied.
“Well I love the Chiefs, watching them right now, and that’s a bit much,” said another.
“It’s all fun and games until the Chiefs change their logo,” one person commented.
“It’s flooring and paint... easily changed,” another wrote. “The rest of the house is awesome. I would buy it in a heartbeat.”
