A birthday party ended when the floor collapsed into a home’s basement in Colorado along with dozens of dancing teenagers.

“Two seconds before the ground ended up breaking, you could hear it all snapping apart, but you didn’t have enough time to do anything about it,” Cass Henry, 15, told KUSA.

South Metro Fire Rescue said there were 100 to 150 children at the Feb. 26 party in Aurora. Three people were taken to a hospital.

Grayson West was injured during the floor collapse and required ankle surgery, KDVR reported.

“There was a big crack and then everything just went slow-mo from there. Both sides of the room just completely split into like a ‘V’ pretty much and everybody was just sliding down these floors. It was just sheer panic,” Gavin Neer, another partygoer, told the news outlet.

Another TikTok video shows the teenagers trying to crawl out of the caved-in flooring. The TikTok user captioned the video “how my birthday went.”

A gas leak occurred because of the wreckage, but it was shut off by a fire crew.

Fire officials said no children were trapped in the debris after searching the home.
