‘Trophy’ mansion lists for $50 million in California. Check out all of the features

A remarkable mansion that has more than a few high-end amenities — ones that you don’t see every day — has listed in Laguna Niguel, California, for $50 million.

Perched on a hilltop overlooking the Pacific blue, the 14,500-square-foot “trophy” estate known as Oceans 13 offers up elegance, sophistication and high-end technology in one provocatively wrapped package. Built in 2016, the mansion sits on 13 acres and has six bedrooms and 10 bathrooms (six full, four half), the listing on Douglas Elliman describes.

Features include:

  • 500-foot driveway

  • 20 skylights

  • Chef’s kitchen

  • Bar

  • Steam and infrared sauna

  • Gym

  • Movie theater

  • Balcony

  • Ocean-view game room

  • Glass elevator

And the outdoor entertainment area is just as impressive as its sleek interior.

“An entertainer’s dream of indoor/outdoor living,” the listing says. “This estate offers an extensive outdoor BBQ area with full kitchenette, over 2,500 square feet of decking with fire pit lounge, a negative edge pool with Baja shelf and glass bridge to the pool’s fire pit that seats 25, grand spa, waterfalls, two putting greens, all while perched above ocean, city, and mountain views.”

According to Robb Report, the custom-built house belongs to SmartClixx founder Gary Dinkin and his wife, Lindy. Their love of art played a major part in the home’s design.

“My wife and I are very much into art, and our estate is full of it,” Dinkin told Robb Report. “In the front of our home, the porte-cochère has triangles that zig and zag out of it, and it was based on Israeli artist Yaakov Agam, who is known for his 3D paintings and sculptures.

“In the 1960s and ‘70s, Agam created something called the ‘Agamograph’ where from one angle it shows the painting and on the other side it shows something different.”

The listing is held by Josh Altman, Matt Altman and Andy Stavros of Douglas Elliman and co-listed with John Stanaland with Villa Real Estate.
