A 67-year-old man left his Georgia home without a cellphone, and now police need help finding him.

Edward Lee Knight, who has dementia, was last seen on Thursday, May 26, according to Gwinnett County police.

Knight left his home in Dacula around 4 p.m. to pick up a prescription at the Kroger on Dacula Road and was seen driving a black 2013 Toyota Corolla with Georgia tag CAN8700, according to a missing person alert. His car was recovered in Monroe County, Georgia — nearly 80 miles away.

Knight stands 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs around 137 pounds with balding brown hair, brown eyes and a mustache, police said. He was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, blue sneakers and a T-shirt.

Anyone with information on Knight’s whereabouts is asked to call Gwinnett County detectives at 770-513-5300 or submit an anonymous tip to Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
