Petrified Forest National Park in Arizona is left with unanswered questions after a bullet struck a National Park Service Vehicle on Sept. 20.

National Park Service and law enforcement officials are investigating an incident involving a gunshot to an unmarked service vehicle, according to a park news release. Two employees were in the vehicle but no one was injured.

Blue Mesa Loop Road and most trails into Blue Mesa within the park are closed, officials said. The main park roads remain open.

Law enforcement does not have any suspects as of Sept. 20.
