Any resident of Arizona will be quick to tell folks that stepping outside during summers in the Copper State is like executing the perfect swan dive into the sun. But one house that has recently hit the real estate market has surefire plan to escape the heat:

It has its very own water park.

The six-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion — which is listed for $5.5 million in Scottsdale — is over 16,900 square feet and is just as cool looking inside as it is on the outside. But the main draw is the water park glimmering in the backyard.

“Rare mansion in the highly sought after Cactus Corridor on nearly two acres! Situated on the perfect lot with gorgeous mountain views!” the listing on Zillow.com says. “Entertainers dream backyard with a newly constructed resort style pool including a lazy river, TWO waterslides, jump deck, grotto, swim up bar and sunken outdoor kitchen!”

Of course, the mansion wouldn’t be complete without, you know, more high-end features that include:

  • Room to park an abundance of cars

  • Guest quarters

  • Private study

  • Theater

  • Gym

  • Beamed ceilings

  • Fireplaces

  • Secret rooms

  • Breakfast room

  • Private primary suite balcony

  • Carriage house

The dazzling estate made an appearance on Friday Night Zillow, a Twitter segment run by Bloomberg reporter Steven Dennis.

“Yeah, so about that drought. Somebody in Scottsdale thought, hey, let’s build a giant lazy river / water /mansion complex,” Dennis tweeted. “It’s glorious in its way. 20+ parking spaces, because you don’t build this water park just for yourself.”

“Whew! $30k per month mortgage,” one person said.

“Hello, water bill in the desert,” another observed.

“I’m sorry. Is that a lazy river around a swim up bar?!” someone asked.
