As “American Idol” progresses deep into its 21st season, one singer from Georgia continues to show off her “big star” potential.

But before Megan Danielle floored the judges during the Sunday, April 30, show, she received words of encouragement from the week’s guest coach, Adam Lambert. He suggested Danielle bring more “gravitas” for her upcoming performance.

“She doesn’t realize how talented she is,” Lambert said. “She’s got real potential to be a big star as long as she believes she can be a big star.”

Danielle took the advice to heed as she performed Bonnie Raitt’s “Angel from Montgomery.”

“American Idol” judge Luke Bryan said he was “so emotional” over Danielle’s performance.

“That performance will stand up anywhere,” Bryan said. “And what Adam Lambert told you was so right. You are the reason ‘American Idol’ works. That was absolutely incredible.”

Lionel Richie told Danielle her performance was “stellar” and fellow judge Katy Perry also gushed about the Georgia native.

“I finally believe in you, 100%,” Perry said. “You brought it. You got your wings.”

Later in the night, Danielle found out she made the show’s top 10.

This is unbelievable,” Danielle said in an Instagram post as she thanked her fans.

Danielle will perform again during Monday’s show.
