Nightclub worker’s testicles bitten after 19-year-old denied entry, Michigan cops say
A 19-year-old man denied entry into a Michigan nightclub is accused of biting two of its workers, including one in the testicles, cops say.
Ann Arbor police said it happened at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 26, at Necto nightclub.
The 19-year-old from Detroit is accused of punching an employee in the face after he was told he could not enter the club, police said in a Tuesday, Aug. 29, news release. It’s unclear why he was denied entry.
Two of the workers were also bitten by the 19-year-old, including one whose testicles were grabbed and bitten, according to police. The 20-year-old worker was taken to a hospital for treatment.
As the 19-year-old was being put in handcuffs, he caused a minor injury to an officer’s fingers, according to police.
He was charged with one count of resisting/assaulting a police officer causing injury, two counts of resisting/assaulting a police officer, one count of aggravated assault and two counts of simple assault, police said.
Police said the 19-year-old was arraigned Monday, Aug. 28, and given a $25,000 cash bond.
Necto has not publicly commented on the incident.
Ann Arbor is about 40 miles west of Detroit.
