Skeptical wife didn’t believe husband’s big Missouri lottery win. ‘No you didn’t!’
A lottery ticket that sat in a man’s truck for hours turned out to be a big winner — and he is crediting a lucky feeling.
The man said he purchased the Millionaire Blowout ticket while making a routine stop at Country Club Express Wash in Wentzville. While confident in his purchase, he said he waited six hours to scratch off his ticket.
And when he did, he knew right away it was a big winner.
“I scratched the $10,000 bonus first, so I knew it was big. I just didn’t know how big,” he told lottery officials.
The ticket won him $50,000, and he said it was all because of “lucky feelings.” But his wife didn’t quite believe his luck when he called to tell her the good news.
“She just goes, ‘No you didn’t!’” he said. “And I just go, ‘Yeah I did!’”
Millionaire Blowout costs $50 to play and offers four top prizes of $5 million, as well as 21 $1 million prizes.
Wentzville is about 40 miles northwest of St. Louis.
