Newly constructed home hidden in the Tennessee woods will knock your socks off. See it
One wouldn’t expect to find a home so polished and sleek hidden within the looming trees of Madison, Tennessee, but a new construction is turning heads after being on the market for less than a month.
The sophisticated and modern three-bedroom, 2.5-bathroom home, with a fashionable black and wood exterior, sits cozy next to an ebony carport and is listed for $549,000.
Here’s the thing, though. The 1,538-square-foot residence is already listed as contingent on Realtor.com.
“The overall design with this architect doesn’t happen at this price point,” listing agent Brian Bequette told Realtor.
“Madison is an emerging market that is starting to get more popular. Because we are in an emerging market, we had to keep the price at a spot that is commensurate with the market.”
That architect in question is Ryan Thewes, who found a mentor in the work of Frank Lloyd Wright, especially when it came to “Wright’s bold use of geometry, veneration of nature and his ability to integrate a building with its site,” Thewes’ website describes.
The shape and feel of the home has exactly that sort of Wright energy on a smaller scale, with natural light flowing through the home and bouncing off the downstairs concrete floors.
“Everyone loves the finishes,” Bequette said to Realtor. “There are concrete slabs, and the cabinets are modern, but nothing is overly fancy. They used good materials, and it is so well done. There is very little maintenance cost over the first three to five years of ownership. And the investment will only go up in price over time.”
Features include:
Upstairs hardwood floors
Modern kitchen
Custom closets
Two-car carport
Plenty of storage
Madison is about 10 miles northeast of Nashville.
