A Las Vegas casino player got lucky when they spent $25 on a slot machine, then won much more.

The visitor landed a $1,037,828 jackpot.

The player was at The Palazzo casino at The Venetian Resort on March 11, a spokesperson for the hotel told McClatchy News by email.

They were playing Dragon Link in the high limit gaming lounge, the spokesperson said.

The player bet $25 and hit the jackpot, which is the third jackpot over $1 million to be hit at this lounge since October, according to the hotel.

The Palazzo is an extension of the Italian-themed luxury resort The Venetian. The two are connected and on the Las Vegas Strip.

Earlier in March, a slot machine player at Caesars Palace won a big prize two separate times in a matter of four hours. They won $710,000, McClatchy News reported.
