A house or a hallway? Instagram is up in arms over this home for sale in DC
Skinny houses aren’t as common on the real estate market as tiny homes, so when they pop up, people take notice.
Especially if they’re bitter about the home and its cost.
Folks angrily took to the comment section of an Instagram page that had a walk-through video of a slim house for sale in Washington, D.C.. While the home itself is 600-square-feet, the width of the largest part of the house is around 10 feet — and that’s just thanks to bay windows.
The house is actually about six feet wide, according to the Washingtonian.
And the cost? $625,000.

While elegantly decorated, the one-bedroom, one-bathroom home is getting loads of angry comments on @thecreolerealtor’s video.
“It’s so narrow,” one person posted.
“Highway robbery,” another chimed in.
“Can two people walk at the same time?” someone asked.
“Are you crazy?” one person noted.
“Did they miss the meeting on ‘width?’” another asked.
“This is by far the skinniest house I’ve ever skimmed through,” someone said.
“For a hallway?!” one person expressed.
