‘Adventurous’ dog missing a leg was found abandoned in a house. Now he needs real home
This 2-year-old pup may be missing a leg but that’s not slowing him down.
“He will play ball and run when he gets the energy, and he will sit when he wants treats,” according to a Pennsylvania shelter.
Scrappy arrived at the Humane Society of Cambria County in May after he was abandoned in a house with other cats and dogs, according to a June 20 /Facebook post. Now, this Boston Terrier is ready for a home.
The “adventurous” dog lives a “normal” life, despite missing a leg, the shelter said. He’s shy around new faces, but will eventually warm up to new people.
“Once he warms up, he enjoys scratches on top of his head, playing fetch, eating treats and soaking up the sun,” according to the shelter.
The shelter says Scrappy’s “next adventure in life” is finding his new home. The shelter doesn’t know what happened to Scrappy’s missing leg.
Cambria County is about an 80-mile drive east of Pittsburgh.
