Former Indianapolis Colts player Daniel Muir’s son has been missing for days and is believed to be in danger, Indiana State Police said.

Bryson Muir, 14, was last seen leaving a family member’s home in Ohio on June 16 with his mother, according to a June 25 news release from police.

Shortly after leaving the family member’s home, Bryson’s mother was pulled over by police, according to the news release. Bryson was not in the car when his mother was pulled over, police said.

Two days later, the Cass County Department of Child Services asked police to investigate allegations of domestic battery toward the teen at his home, according to the release. Police and child services said they could not locate the child or reach the parents.

A photo shared by police of Bryson showed him with a bruised eye.

As of June 27, police said they were able to contact Bryson’s parents at their home, which police said is on property belonging to the Servant Leader’s Foundation in Logansport.

The Servant Leader’s Foundation is a nonprofit religious group, according to FOX59. McClatchy News could not find contact information listed for the group.

Police said the parents are “beginning to show signs of cooperation” as of June 27, but the teen has not been located. Daniel Muir is a person of interest, Indiana State Police Capt. Ron Galaviz told FOX59.

“This investigation is on-going and investigators are continuing to ask those with any information as to the whereabouts of Bryson Muir to call the ISP Post in Peru at 800-382-0689 or to call 911,” police said.

Daniel Muir was a defensive tackle who was signed by the Green Bay Packers in 2007. He played there for one year before going on to play for the New York Jets, Indianapolis Colts and Oakland Raiders.
