‘Enthusiastic’ lottery player won $465 in Maryland. Then he just kept winning
A man won $465 playing Keno and decided to use some of the prize money toward another shot at a win, according to an Aug. 30 news release from the Maryland Lottery.
He bought a $30 scratch-off ticket in Woodbine and ended up winning $30 so he bought another ticket which carried a $40 prize, officials said.
Finally, the Frederick County man bought a 200X The Cash scratch-off and landed $50,000, officials said.
“He loves it,” the man’s wife told lottery officials. “He plays all the time.”
This marks the lucky man’s biggest win to date, officials said.
The man and his wife, who are puppy parents, said a fence is on the list of potential ways to spend the money, officials said.
Woodbine is about a 30-mile drive northwest of Baltimore.
