Man seen putting woman’s body in vehicle, Arizona cops say. He’s arrested weeks later
A man was seen putting a woman’s body into a vehicle weeks before his arrest in Arizona, police said.
A witness reported the incident to authorities Oct. 1 in Flagstaff, the police department said in an Oct. 21 news release.
Police responded to the area and discovered 38-year-old Sandy Singer of Tonalea unresponsive in a vehicle.
First responders tried to perform life-saving measures on her, but she was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
Samuel Lee of Ganado was arrested Oct. 18 on suspicion of second-degree murder and sexual assault. Police did not specify if Singer and Lee knew each other.
Flagstaff is about a 145-mile drive north from Phoenix.
