Gambler bets 88 cents on slot machine — then ends up with much bigger prize in Vegas
A Las Vegas gambler bet some change on a slot machine and won a big prize.
Now, the player is $18,813.63 richer.
The visitor sat at Prosperity Link slot machine at the Gold Coast Hotel and Casino, the casino said in a Nov. 9 post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
The gambler bet 88 cents, hit spin and watched as the symbols flashed across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.
“Feeling lucky? This fortunate player bet just $.88 and hit the big time with an $18,814 jackpot!” the casino wrote.
Another guest also recently hit a jackpot at the casino.
The player bet $1 on a Thunder Drums slot machine and won over $23,000.
Gold Coast Hotel and Casino is about a 1-mile drive west of the Las Vegas Strip.
