Gambler hits slot machine jackpot with $6 bet at Texas casino. ‘Thrill of a lifetime’
Las Vegas isn’t the only place to score a lucky win.
One gambler hit a life-changing jackpot worth $691,289.48 on Thanksgiving in Texas.
The player from Corpus Christi sat at a “Frankenstein” slot machine at the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino Hotel in Eagle Pass, the casino said in a Nov. 29 news release.
The visitor bet $6 on the machine, hit spin and watched as the symbols flash across the screen until a jackpot message appeared.
“The winning guest, whose identity is being kept confidential at their request, experienced the thrill of a lifetime turning a routine visit into an extraordinary moment,” the casino said in the news release.
But that wasn’t the only big win that day.
Another gambler from Princeton won $50,000 on a Polar High Roller game, the casino said in a Facebook post.
Eagle Pass is near the Texas-Mexico border, about a 140-mile drive southwest from San Antonio.
