Two lottery players hit $403,000 Fantasy 5 jackpot in Georgia. Where were tickets sold?
Two lottery players tried their luck at Fantasy 5 — and won the jackpot prize, according to the Georgia Lottery.
The lucky players matched all five numbers drawn Monday, Jan. 20, to win $403,502 each, the lottery said.
One winning ticket was sold at a Citgo Quik Mart in Alpharetta, and the other was purchased by an Alpharetta resident on the Georgia Lottery mobile app, officials said.
The winning numbers Monday were 9-10-12-27-28, results show. Both players beat odds of 1 in 850,668 to snag the grand prize.
Lottery officials didn’t release additional details.
It marks another recent lottery win for the Peach State. A Dacula resident won a $50,000 Powerball prize in the Jan. 18 drawing, and another winning ticket worth $50,000 was sold at a Publix supermarket in Atlanta for the Jan. 20 drawing, according to the Georgia Lottery.
Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim prizes, and winners are encouraged to sign the back of their tickets, officials said.
Alpharetta is about a 30-mile drive north from downtown Atlanta.
