Powerball player wins $150,000 prize in Washington. Where was lucky ticket sold?
A Powerball ticket sold in Washington won $150,000 but just missed the $320 million jackpot, lottery officials say.
The ticket matched four of five winning numbers, the Powerball and the Power Play in the drawing Saturday, March 8, Washington’s Lottery said.
The winning ticket was sold at a Safeway in Seattle, lottery officials said.
A ticket sold in Texas won $1 million in the drawing.
Nobody won the grand prize, which rises to an estimated $335 million, with a cash value of about $157.3 million, for the next drawing Monday, March 10, the national Powerball site said.
The winning numbers were 2, 4, 16, 23 and 63, with a Powerball of 13, the lottery said. The Power Play multiplier was 3x.
More than 715,000 other Powerball tickets sold in the United States also won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, the lottery said.
The Powerball jackpot was last won Jan. 18, when an Oregon player hit the $329 million grand prize, lottery officials said.
