A 28-year-old has gone missing after his car broke down during a road trip, Arizona police said.

On Aug. 5, Mathew Spencer — whose last address was in Spanaway, Washington — was road tripping from Las Vegas to Houston, according to a Sept. 9 Facebook post by Flagstaff officers.

His silver Hyundai Tucson with Washington place license CJM2235 was seen in Flagstaff on the same day, police said.

His family last heard from him on Aug. 6, police said.

His car broke down somewhere between Bellemont and Williams, which are west of Flagstaff, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to call 928-774-4523, police said.

Flagstaff is about a 140-mile drive northeast from Phoenix.
