16 sweet facts about Easter candy

Fortune magazine reported this week that Americans spend more on candy for Easter than they do at Halloween.

Citing data from the National Retail Federation released Wednesday, the magazine says U.S. consumers who plan to celebrate Easter said they’d spend a combined $2.4 billion on candy, while Halloween-goers were estimated to spend $2.1 billion.
