Cruz says he might restart his campaign if he wins Nebraska
Sen. Ted Cruz isn’t giving up his presidential dreams quite yet. The former presidential candidate said Tuesday on Glenn Beck’s radio show that he might restart his campaign for the White House if he wins the Nebraska primary Tuesday night.
“We launched this campaign intending to win,” he said, though he acknowledged a win was unlikely. “The reason we suspended our campaign was that with the Indiana loss, I felt there was no path to victory.”
“If that changes, we will certainly respond accordingly,” he added. Cruz, who dropped out of the race last week, notably did not announce he would endorse Donald Trump, who is the only candidate remaining in the race and the virtually assured Republican nominee.
