Tourists get ‘rare awesome blessing’ as sea creature and her babies visit Fiji. See it

A group of tourists aboard a diving boat in Fiji recently had “an incredibly awesome” experience.

The boat was exploring near Beqa Lagoon Resort when it encountered a mama humpback whale and her two calves, according to a Sept. 2 Facebook post from the resort.

“We were really fortunate to take a close glimpse at them as they were coming right close to the boat,” the resort said.

A video shows the massive humpback and her babies gliding near the surface and diving in and out of the water.

Passengers also spotted “a group of playful dolphins” that followed the boat, according to the resort’s post.

“What a unique and fun day,” the post said.

Social media users shared their excitement about the encounter.

“What a rare awesome blessing,” one person commented on Facebook.

“That is amazing!!” another Facebook user commented.

“WOW.....Amazing,” another comment said.

The resort is on Beqa Island, which is south of Fiji’s main island.
