Jackie Suvivuo acknowledges that there aren’t many middle school students like her volunteering for Republican Donald Trump.

That’s why she felt at home over the past two weeks making calls for him with Trump’s Sacramento campaign committee.

In the past two days alone she reached more than 1,000 voters in battle ground states from a phone bank at the headquarters for Sacramento’s Republican central committee. She kept a tally next to her phone.

On Election Night, Jackie ended her calls by saying, “make America great again, baby.”

Her mom, Monique Suvivuo laughed each time.

“What better way to experience the most important election of a lifetime than to be a part of it,” Monique said.

Volunteers at the phone bank reached almost 18,000 voters today. They’re feeling optimistic as they watch election results.

“We feel good. We did everything we could to make it happen,” said Walter Goodwater, a retired National Guard colonel who led Trump’s campaign in Sacramento.
